Hello and welcome to my website.
Sometimes life can be challenging to navigate due to stress, depression, anxiety, overwhelm, family and parenting difficulties, and the impact of trauma and grief. I offer therapy services to individuals and families and welcome the opportunity to support you on your journey.
I am committed to fostering a caring, non-judgmental space that draws on your strengths and meets you where you are. Through a collaborative approach, we can work together to identify the barriers that may be limiting your growth and potential.
By deepening your understanding of your experience, I can support you to integrate the changes you would like to see in your life and relationships.
I bring to my practice ten years of experience providing counselling and psychotherapy services to individuals, families and groups in a variety of settings including private practice, community mental health organizations and social service agencies.
My educational background and professional development have focused on relational, existential integrative and somatic therapies, as well as anti-oppressive and feminist approaches.
I am specialized in supporting individuals who are recovering from trauma, including disassociation, complex trauma, and intergenerational trauma. I also have extensive experience supporting people who identify as LGBTQ2S+ and their families.
I am a member in good standing of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) as well as a professional member of the Canadian Humanistic and Transpersonal Association (CHTA).
Alongside my clinical practice, I also create and facilitate trainings for health and social service agencies on a range of topics, including equity and diversity, LGBTQ2S+ inclusion, trauma-informed care, family mental health recovery, and Emotion Focused Family Therapy (EFFT).
If you are interested in exploring my services, the best way to see if we are a good fit is to contact me about a free 15-minute telephone consultation. I generally respond to inquiries within 48 hours, from Monday to Friday.
